Hop on Pop.

I think it is so much fun to crawl all over Daddy. In case Daddy isn't tortured enough at work, I make sure he know's who's boss at home. Me!!

RI Visitors!

While Mommy and I were in Rhode Island we had a lot of visitors! Here I am with Mommy's old baby-sitter, Lisa and her twin girls, Laura and Leena. Lisa took care of Mommy when she was my age. They rode bikes, went swimming and did all sorts of fun things!
Here I am with Cathy DeNardo. Cathy is my Godmother Bethany's Mommy. Cathy remembers when Mommy and Auntie Bethy were my age. It's nice to have so many old friends!

It was really nice to spend the weekend in Rhode Island, but we really missed Daddy!

'Tis the Season!

It's Lombardi tradition to put up the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend. This year, Mommy helped Poppa Ron pitch the tree while I napped. When I woke up, I saw all of the pretty lights. I was so excited! Then, Mommy, Noni Cherie, Great-Nana and Uncle Matt hung all the ornaments on the tree. Mommy says that ornaments are to be looked at but not touched. Boo!

Watch out, I'm getting faster.

My First Thanksgiving!!

This year was my first Turkey Day!! Look at my adorable Thanksgiving outfit!
Mommy and I were color coordinated.

Daddy spent Thanksgiving morning running with me in the jogging stroller and golfing, but he finally stayed inside long enough to feast!

Great Aunt Dee Dee, Noni Cherie, cousin Marriane and Poppa Ron were all in Rhode Island for Thanksgiving.

Here is everyone at the table. There were 19 people (including me), so some folks had to sit at a table in the foyer.

I was a very good boy during dinner. I sat in my high chair and made funny faces when Mommy gave me tastes of all the different food. Nana Lanna thought it was sooo funny. Who would have thought that grown-up sweet potatoes taste so different from baby sweet potatoes!!
I also discovered that I have a keen taste for sterling silver spoons. They are so much better than regular flatware...

Daddy didn't get the memo about the coordinating outfits...

Great Aunt Dee Dee and Great Nana couldn't believe how big I am now!Bare feet, hard wood floors and a knit onezie makes tummy crawling a breeze...

Sassy is so thankful for her new family that she jumps in everyone's lap. Usually Great-Grandma keeps her distance from the doggies, but Sassy thought she was a great snuggle bug.

Fun with Grandpa Bernie

Thanksgiving Pre-Game

Nana Lanna, Grandpa Bernie, and Grandma Janeane came over to have a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with me. We had pork chops, stuffing and salad, and Nana Lanna baked a yummy apply pie. I think I'm going to like Thanksgiving!!

Dinner at the Meyer's

Today we had dinner at cousin Ann and Alan Meyer's house. Mommy and Daddy say that Ann is a wonderful cook! I got to play with my cousin Ben in this very cool exersaucer. Ben thought it was so funny when I jumped up and down! Grandma Janeane and Grandpa Bernie were there too! It was so much fun to see everyone.

My First Photo Shoot!

Today I had my first photo shoot! Grandpa Bernie and Grandma Janeane were in town visiting me, so we decided to have some pictures taken. I was pretty well behaved for the group shots, but I was a real ham for my solo pictures. I just really like to have an audience!

BOBing Around

Nana Lanna gave Daddy a BOB jogging stroller for his birthday. Daddy was so excited to use it that he took me for a run for 2 hours!! It was really cold out but I was so bundled and warm that I decided to take a nap while Daddy ran.

My Mess

I'm teaching Mommy that she can't turn her back for a second! This morning, when mommy turned around to get a paper towel, I took over. I grabbed the spoon, tipped over the bowl and fed myself. This is what mommy gets if she's going to be so slow!

Sudha comes to visit!

Today, Mommy and Daddy's friend Sudha came all the way out to Westchester (from the Upper East Side) to visit me! Daddy was post-call so he and Sudha went for a long run. When they came back, mommy made the boys breakfast. Then, mommy, daddy, Sudha and I went to the Doctor for my 6 month check up. I got my flu shot and didn't even cry. I now weigh 18 lbs and am 27 inches long! It's time to start stage 2 baby foods: blueberry and turkey, here I come!!!

Daddy on Call

Today was Sunday and Daddy was on call.
But he came home for a little while to push me in the swing.

Mommy thinks my first words are going to be "Hi, this is GU returning a page."

It was so nice to get a surprise visit from Daddy today!

Brunch, Museum and Beer

Today Mommy, Daddy and I had brunch with Auntie Jenny and Uncle Chris at Sarabeth's.
I was so happy to spend time with Godfather. He told me to "kiss the ring." It didn't look like my other teething rings, so I was a little confused.

After brunch we spent some time at the Natural Museum of History. We saw an IMax film about sea monsters. I nursed through most of it. After the museum we went to a pub where Auntie Phyllis met us.

The sangria here was terrible so we all decided to drink beer on tap instead. Unfortunately we didn't see Uncle Garth because he was busy reliving his glory days in a basket ball tournament. Hope your hammie heals, Uncle Garth!
