He's My Best Friend.

I just adore Kaden. Mommy and Daddy aren't surprised. I spend more time with him than anyone else.

Backyard Antics.

Now that I'm a walkin' man, I just love to play in the backyard. I run from toy to toy, only stopping to eat the occasional leaf or stick.

Happy Easter!!

We spent Easter weekend in Simsbury at Nana Lanna's house! Grauntie Cheryl, Grauntie Deb and Gruncle Bill came out to spend the weekend with us too. I was so excited that the Easter bunny found me there! Everyone spoiled me with lots of Easter treats and early birthday presents. All of the adults dyed Easter eggs too. Maybe next year I will be old enough to hunt for eggs!!

Early Birthday Dinner

Since my first birthday is right around the corner, Grauntie Deb and Gruncle Bill took us all out for an early birthday dinner. Thank you Grauntie Deb and Gruncle Bill! I even had a special ice cream dessert. It was delicious!

These Shoes are Made for Walkin'

Since I am walking EVERYWHERE now, Mommy and Daddy took me to buy some proper shoes. I don't crawl at all anymore. I'm such a big boy!!!

The Godfather Visits

Auntie Jenny and Uncle Chris came to visit me today. They brought me this super cool bunny that dances and sings. I just love him. Mommy makes him sing almost every morning and I dance just like the bunny. Doggie Ali also came to visit. FINALLY a dog that likes me! I had such a great time playing with Ali. She's such a goofball!!!

Is Your Mama a Lawyer?

"Is your mama a lawyer?" I asked my friend Duane.

"No she is not!" is what Duane exclaimed. "My mom's home at night and during some of the days. I do not think that's how a lawyer behaves. "

"Yes, you are right", is all I could say. "Your mom's not a lawyer if she's home during the day."

~~~~~
"Is your mama a lawyer?" I asked my friend Donna.
"I really don't think so" is how Donna responded "My mom cooks me dinner and feeds me at night. For a lawyer to do that just doesn't seem right".
"Well", I thought, "that is certainly true. Your mom's not a lawyer if she's cooking for you."
~~~~~

"Is your mama a lawyer?" I asked my friend Ted.

"I'd have to say, no" is what Teddy said "I don't have a nanny and I spend time with my mom. That just can't be how a lawyer carries on."

I thought to myself, "That's right on the spot! Your mom's not a lawyer if she's with you a lot."

~~~~~~
Is your mama a lawyer?" I asked my friend Jim
"Oh heavens no", Jim said with a grin. "My mom takes me swimming, to classes and the park. I don't think that lawyers get home until dark"
"Yes, yes" I said "That is correct. Your mom's not a lawyer, I'd be willing to bet."
~~~~

"Is your mama a lawyer?" I asked my friend Ty

"Why of course she is, Max." Ty said with a sigh.

"My mom's gone all day and sometimes at night. She never lets her blackberry out of her sight."

"She's a bundle of nerves even when she's at home and she spends much of her time at her computer alone."

"I know how you feel." I said to my friend. "My mama's a lawyer and her work never ends"

"She's tired at night when she takes care of me and she complains all the time that she's just too busy."

"She loves me a lot, but she's always away. She wishes there were more than twenty-four hours in a day."

But my mom is what she is, and for now she can't bend. My mama's a lawyer, and this is THE END.
